The African Electoral Integrity Initiative (AE2I) is a non-profit, non-partisan, non-religious organization committed to making African electoral process more transparent and credible.
Electoral Integrity is an essential part of a free, fair, and reliable election.
African elections have often been treated as a “do or die” affair as they are viewed as a pathway to wealth and power. These elections are therefore fraught with vote buying, ballot box snatching, forgery of collated results, theft of electoral materials, bribery and over voting.
